What follows is an edited excerpt from my recent book, Past the Past. Perhaps it will speak to folks who know me from my professional side and who are a bit disturbed by my insistence on writing of that weird spiritual stuff!

“I had enough experience in the intuitive and spiritual realms to understand that it is exceedingly subtle, and one should not require something subtle to hit you over the head with proof to believe it.

… Our intellectual and emotional sides often feel unsatisfied with the mysterious realms of intuition, magic, and past lives. The mind, having ruled out intuition and past lives as unreasonable from the outset, has dismissed them outright.

Similarly, our emotional self disapproves of subtlety for its own reasons. Seeing Hollywood as its benchmark, anything magical must include romance and showcase realistic special effects. In the absence of these elements, our emotional self overlooks anything that falls within the delicate nuances!

I’ve learned that if I pay close attention, unexpected confirmations can happen and be noticed simply because they are, well, unexpected…”
